Artisphere Wins Best Art Fairs Award
National Survey Picks Artisphere as Among Best in the Nation[COLDWATER, MI] Artisphere presented by TD Bank is a winner in the national “America’s Best Art Fair Awards” competition. Named as one of the “Best OVERALL Art Fairs”, the survey recognized Artisphere as one of the best juried fine art fairs in the country.
Sponsored by ArtFairCalendar.com, the #1 website for art fair event listings, the 2014 online survey opened voting beyond the traditional “art fair insiders” like artists and show staff to include/focus on voting by art fair patrons, fine art collectors, and the public that attends art shows and festivals nationwide.
“Artisphere has always been popular among art fair lovers in the Greenville area, but our 2nd annual national Best Art Fairs Awards survey proves that both art collectors and artists nationwide love it, too,” said Connie Mettler, Publisher of ArtFairCalendar.com. “We’re happy to give a “Best OVERALL Art Fair Award to Artisphere today.”
“We’re very pleased at this recognition of Artisphere by ArtFairCalendar.com’s “Best Art Fair Awards,” said Executive Director, Kerry Murphy. “We have a great team of staff and volunteers who work hard every year to produce this important cultural event that brings so much art, business, and fun to the Greenville community.”
Artisphere is a highlight of Greenville’s cultural calendar and a Top 10 Fine Arts festival. The event features a juried Visual Artist Row; Artists of the Upstate, a juried exhibition of local artists; Outdoor Stages with performances by local and national artists; hands-on Kidsphere children’s art activities; the Culinary Arts Café that highlights local restaurants; and Special Festival Art Projects that enliven the streets of Greenville with street musicians, acrobats, sidewalk artists, and more.
